International Violinist Ruda Lee to Perform

Philadelphia, PA – November 16, 2024 – Renowned violinist Ruda Lee will bring her exquisite talent to the intimate gallery space at the Salzmann Photography Center at Photo West Gallery on Saturday, November 16, at 5:00 PM, as part of the “Por un Mundo Mejor // For a Better World” art exhibition. This moving performance, set among the vibrant works of Cuban art collective El Grupo Bayate, will inspire audiences with the universal call for a better world — “un mundo mejor” — a vision we all cherish and need now more than ever.
About Ruda Lee
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Ruda Lee has enchanted audiences globally since her debut at age six, when she became the youngest winner of the World Symphony Orchestra Competition. Her illustrious career includes a 2014 recital at Carnegie Hall and a nationally televised performance at the Kennedy Center Honors Gala with Yo-Yo Ma, attended by President Obama. A versatile soloist and chamber musician, she has performed at prestigious festivals worldwide and is the current Artistic Director of Young Virtuosi and Virtuoso Fiesta.
Ruda’s performance will serve as a powerful musical backdrop to an evening that celebrates Cuban culture, resilience, and the beauty of self-expression, embodying a shared dream of unity and hope.
